‘Tourism Promo Fest-2024’ from December 14

Agartala, Nov 23 (FD) In an effort to boost tourism to earn more revenue in the state the government has decided to organise a weeklong tourism festival in the state capital, Agartala from December 14. 

The festival christen as ‘Tourism Promo Fest-2024’ will be held at the Swami Vibekananda moidan of the capital city. 

In the promo, the photos of the renowned tourist spots of Tripura would be displayed everyday and cultural programmes would be performed to attract people.

Boosted by Rs 550 crores from the centre, the government is trying to develop the tourism sector and sites. 

The government has also decided to light up different tourists spots including Mata Tripureswari temple and other sites from the second week of December this year and the brand ambassador of Tripura tourism, Sourav Ganguli will also visit different tourist’s spots in Tripura. FD JK
