Young Girl from Tripura Won Multiple Medals at Asian Yogasana Sports Championship

Agartala, July 05 (FD) Unakoti District's very own talented young girl, Tahira Ahmed, has made her state and country proud by securing multiple medals at the 2nd Asian Yogasana Sports Championship 2023, held in Bangkok.
Currently pursuing her studies in Political Science at Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata, Tahira has garnered a remarkable reputation for her exceptional skills in yoga and dance.
Expressing her elation, Tahira stated, "I am immensely proud to represent my country in the championship organised by the Yogasana Sports Federation of Thailand in collaboration with the Yoga Sports Federation of India.
Winning the Bronze medal in the Traditional Yogasana Event and Silver medals in the Artistic Yoga Event, the artistic pair yoga event, the rhythmic pair yoga event, and the Artistic Group Yoga Event is a great honour."
Tahira attributed her success to the unwavering support of her family, especially her elder sister, who played a vital role in her journey. She also expressed gratitude to her esteemed Yoga Guru, Mr. Gouranga Sarkar Sir, acknowledging his invaluable guidance and mentorship.
