Actor Yami Gautams recently released movie Article 370 has hit a roadblock after it was banned in Gulf countries.
However, no official explanation for this step was provided by the certification board, reported India Today.
The movie was released in India on Friday (February 23, 2024) amid positive reviews from critics and moviegoers.
Over the past three days, the movie earned Rs. 25 crores at the Indian Box Office.

Is the movie based on real-life incidents?
The film is set against the backdrop of the revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, and the autonomy granted under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution to Jammu and Kashmira region administered by India.

When we were making Article 370, so many people told us that this film wont work with the audience, its too technical, too many political jargons etc etc. But we went ahead with our gut because we knew those naysayers were underestimating our audience. Thank you all for proving them absolutely wrong, he said.
