World Heritage Valley Of Flowers Opens For Tourists In Uttarakhand

The World Heritage Valley of Flowers located in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand has been opened for tourists from Saturday. The first group of 48 tourists was sent to the valley from Ghangaria at 8 am this morning.
Divisional Forest Officer of Nanda Devi National Park BB Martoliya said that the trek fee for Valley of Flowers trekking is 200 rupees for Indian citizens and 800 rupees for foreign citizens. Located at an altitude of 12,995 feet above sea level, Valley of Flowers is spread over an area of about 3 square kilometers. Valley of Flowers will remain open for tourists till October 30.
