West Majlishpur Gram Panchayat Wins National Silver Award for e-Governance

Agartala, Sept 22 (FD) In a proud moment for Tripura, West Majlishpur Gram Panchayat under Jirania RD Block, West Tripura, has been honoured with the prestigious National Silver Award at the 28th National Conference on e-Governance 2025, held in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

The award recognizes the Panchayat’s outstanding initiatives and successful implementation of e-Governance practices at the grassroots level. The achievement has brought pride not only to Jirania Block but also to the entire state of Tripura.

District Magistrate of West Tripura, Dr. Vishal Kumar, IAS, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Jirania RD Block team for their dedication, hard work, and commitment in securing this national honour. He urged the Panchayat authorities and concerned officials to continue maintaining the same standard of excellence, ensuring that the benefits of e-Governance reach people effectively.
