West district police seize narcotics from a scooter, arrest rider

Agartala, Oct 18 (FD) West district police in yet another successful raid against narcotics, seized a large quantity of the contraband from a scooter and arrested one person in this connection from Jail Road area here on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip-off, police personnel from East Police Headquarters led by SDPO Ajay Kumar Das detained Sujit Bhowmik in Jail Road area and recovered a large quantity of drug tablets and cough syrup from his scooter.
