Mumbai/IBNS: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) maiden win in the first edition of Womens Premier League (WPL) came with a wonder just after cricket icon Virat Kohlis pep talk for the team.
Kohli, who is himself associated with RCB mens team for 15 years, shared with the women players his experience of playing the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The former RCB skipper said, Ive been playing IPL for 15 years and I havent won it yet. But that doesnt stop me from being excited every year. Thats all I can do. Thats the effort I can put (in).
Always think about the opportunity you have rather than how bad it is right now. Theres always a flip side to it. It could always be worse than this... Theres no guarantee of giving the fans a cup every year but theres a guarantee of giving your 110 percent. Thats all you all can strive to do, he added.
