Vice president applauds Biplab Deb's dedication to farmers at farmers' banquet

Agartala, Oct 13 (FD) In a heartwarming gathering at the New Parliament Building, Vice president Jagdeep Dhankar, serving as the chief guest, showered praise upon former Tripura Chief Minister and current Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Biplab Kumar Deb for his unwavering dedication and service to the nation's farmers.

The occasion was the "Farmers’ Banquet" held on Friday, where Dhankar lauded Deb for his relentless commitment to the agricultural community.

Dhankar expressed that Biplab Kumar Deb's true identity resonates as that of a dedicated servant of farmers, consistently advocating for their welfare and interests. He highlighted Deb's significant contributions to representing the concerns of food donors in the Rajya Sabha, a role that directly impacts nearly 50 percent of India's farming population.
