Tensions between Iran and the United States escalated further as both sides exchanged strikes for the tenth consecutive day, with the crisis around the strategically important Strait of Hormuz deepening.
Iran attacked a tanker passing through the Strait, forcing its crew to abandon the vessel, while the United States carried out another round of airstrikes on targets inside Iran.
Amid the escalating conflict, an Iranian official held talks with mediators in Pakistan as diplomatic efforts continued to revive a stalled interim agreement between Tehran and Washington.
Earlier, US strikes targeted Khormoj in southwestern Iran, while Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain reported fresh Iranian attacks, indicating a widening regional impact of the conflict.
