Unofficial Test match between India A & Australia A is underway at Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay, Australia

In cricket, Australia A were 99 for 4 at stumps on day one, in the unofficial Test match against India A at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay, Australia. Earlier, India A were bowled out for a paltry 107 runs in their first inning after being asked to bat first. Devdutt Padikkal was the top scorer for the visitors, with 36 runs. While Brendan Doggett scalped six wickets for Australia A.

India A is on a tour to Australia for two first-class games against Australia A in Mackay and Melbourne. It will be followed by a three-day intra-squad practice match against the senior Indian men’s team in Perth. Ruturaj Gaikwad is leading the India A team, while Abhimanyu Easwaran has been named as vice captain.
