Bharat TEX 2025, India’s largest global textile Event was officially inaugurated by Minister of Textile, Giriraj Singh at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida today.
MoS Textile, Pabitra Margherita, MP Noida Mahesh Sarma and several other officials attended the inaugural event.
Bharat Tex 2025, the second edition is taking place from today till the 15th of February at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida and the other, from 14th to 17th of February at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
Speaking at the launch event, the Textile Minister said, that under leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharat Tex has been able to attract more than 6000 overseas buyers.
The participation of so many buyers shows the trust in the PM Modi government. He said the textile industry is now a leading industry under Prime Minister Modi.
The Minister said the textile industry, which has been a cornerstone of the country has a textile market valued at 176 billion dollars, encompassing a wide range of goods, from handicrafts to modern products. MR Singh said, Our goal is to grow this market to 350 billion dollars.
Organised by 11 major textile industry bodies and supported by the Ministry of Textiles, the event promises to be a landmark event showcasing the diversity, scale, and capability of the sector.
The event spread over an area of 2.2 million square feet has elevated its stature by attracting over 5000 exhibitors, more than 6000 overseas buyers from 120 countries and more than 1.2 lakh trade visitors.
The event will feature comprehensive pavilions, showcasing the entire textile value chain under one roof. Exhibitors will showcase a wide range of products, including apparel, dyes & chemicals, machinery & equipment, home furnishings, technical textiles, handlooms, and handicrafts.
The event will also feature over 70 conference sessions, roundtables, and master classes, with discussions led by nearly 100 international speakers. Topics such as sustainability, investments, manufacturing 4.0, and future fashion trends will dominate the agenda.
Besides a global-sized trade fair and expo and an international textiles conference, the textile extravaganza will also offer a wide range of activities, seminars, CEO roundtables, and B2B and G2G meetings. It will also feature strategic investment announcements, product launches, and collaborations poised to reshape the global textile industry.
Attendees can look forward to live demonstrations, cultural events, fashion presentations, designer and brand exhibitions sustainability workshops, and expert talks.
Bharat Tex 2025 aims to serve as a unique and consolidated platform to showcase India’s full textile value chain while highlighting its strengths in fashion, traditional crafts, and sustainability initiatives.
