Unakoti District prepares for Elections: 1.94 lakh voters registered

Agartala, Mar 19 (FD) Unakoti district has four assembly constituencies. The total number of voters is 1, 94,305; among them, 97,393 are male voters, 96,910 are female voters, and 2 are transgender voters. There are 417 service voters. There are 255 polling stations in the district, of which 8 will be manned by women.

 The district commissioner and district election officer of Unakoti, Dilip Kumar Chakma, said this in a press conference. He also added that four polling stations will be managed by differently-abled people. There will be a total of 13 naka points in the district. District Superintendent of Police Kanta Jangir, Additional District Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Dey, and Arun Saha also attended the press meet. PRESS RELEASE
