Two touts arrested, who were facilitating illegal entry from neighbouring Bangladesh

Agartala, Feb 18 (FD) Tripura police managed to arrest two touts who were facilitating illegal entry from neighbouring Bangladesh and settling them in India’s metro cities.
In a joint action by the state’s crime branch and the Government Railway Police (GRP) managed to arrest one Niloy Ahmed, a Bangladeshi citizen, who was staying in Bengaluru and helped illegal entrants from the neighbouring country to cross the border and settled them in different metro cities. He was also frequenting to Agartala.
He was presented before a local court here, which remanded him five days police remand.
Police said, he is a resident of Dhaka’s Jatrapur police station.
In a separate incident, one Khokan Das was arrested from Kaiyadefa of Madhupur police station in Sipahijala district, who was involved in human trafficking.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint raid was conducted by GRP and BSF and arrested him from his residence. FD JK
