Two injured over dumping of garbage at Devramthakur para, situation is under control

Agartala, Oct 15 (FD) Tension prevailed at Devramthakur para, a nondescript village at the outskirts of the capital city over dumping of garbage and two persons including a retired police official and a woman were injured.

A retired DSP of Tripura police service, Sunil Mura Singh said, he went to the village to see his younger sister and found that a huge quantity of garbage were dumped before the house of his sister. He then along with his brother-in law cleaned the garbage and dumped before the house of them, who dumped garbage before their house.

At one point of time both the parties were engaged in hot altercation and attacked each other in which the retired DSP and women from minority community were injured and were given first aid by a local hospital.

Murasing did not deny that he and his brother in-law dumped the garbage before the house of them who everyday dumped garbage on the road before their house. “We dumped garbage to see their repercussion”, he told this correspondent.

Police on duty at the Bodhjung Nagar police station said they rushed to the spot within an hour of the incident, case was registered and is under investigation. Situation is under control, police said. FD JK
