Two injured by unidentified gunmen near Khumulwung

Agartala, May 13 (FD) Two persons were injured by bullet firing at Jay Krishna village under Radhapur police station near the headquarters of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) at Khumulwung.
Police said two persons identified as Bidhu Debbarma (40) and Hari Kumar Debbarma (41) were injured in the firing at about 1100 hrs by unidentified gunman and without provocation.
The injured were immediately taken to Khumlwung hospital by local people and later shifted to Gobinda Ballav hospital as their condition deteriorated.
Soon after the incident, SDPO Jirania Kamal Krishna Koloi rushed to the spot and started his investigation.
He said the culprits would be arrested and charge sheets would be presented before a court soon.
