TSF shouts slogan for repeal of CAA

Agartala, Dec 11 (FD) A group of volunteers of Tripura Student Federation (TSF) today gathered at the base of the Gandhi statue demanding repeal of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

The demonstrators are of the view that this black act was passed in the parliament on December 11, 2019 despite opposition by the TSF.

“We think it is a black law to make accommodation for some people coming from outside. We also declared today’s date as a Black day because it is aimed at destabilizing the demographic position of the people in the north eastern states as well as the entire country”, the leaders told reporters.
