Tripura's Pragyat wins 1st at KVS National Science Exhibition

New Delhi, Apri 8 (FD) Tripura’s young talent, Grandmaster Pragyat Prasun, secured the first position at the KVS National-Level Science Exhibition 2025, held in New Delhi on April 7 and 8. The prestigious event witnessed participation from students across 25 KVS regions under the banner of the 52nd Rajya Star Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RSBVP) 2024-25.
Pragyat, currently a Class VIII student at Kendriya Vidyalaya JNU, New Delhi, showcased an innovative sewage-cleaning robot. His project addressed the limitations of current sewage cleaning systems and aimed to minimize human involvement in hazardous waste cleaning processes, thus promoting health and safety.
Originally from Tripura, Pragyat recently relocated to Delhi and continued pursuing his dream of bringing recognition to the North East through innovation. A self-driven young mind, he began creating robots using electronic scrap in early childhood. Under the guidance of his school principal and teachers, his ideas have flourished into award-winning innovations.
Apart from his excellence in robotics, Pragyat has set eight records, including five world records in yoga. In 2024, he had the honor of discussing his futuristic dreams in robotics and yoga with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
