Agartala, Apr 18 (FD) State Health Agency Tripura has brought national recognition to Tripura by winning the award for the best small state in the category of “fast disposal of suspicious claims (best turnaround time)” for the financial year 2025–26. The honour was conferred during a Chintan Shivir held on April 17–18, 2026 in Pune, attended by senior officials of the National Health Authority and representatives from various states.
The achievement comes under the implementation of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. It highlights Tripura’s efficiency in processing suspicious claims swiftly and effectively, strengthening transparency and accountability within the healthcare system.
Officials attributed the success to robust monitoring mechanisms, streamlined claim settlement processes, and coordinated efforts across state and district levels. The consistent focus on improving administrative efficiency has significantly reduced turnaround time while ensuring accuracy in claim verification.
A statement issued by the Tripura Health Protection Society noted that this recognition reaffirms the state’s commitment to delivering quality healthcare services under flagship schemes. It also underlines the importance of collaborative efforts among stakeholders in achieving better outcomes.
Building on this milestone, Tripura aims to further enhance efficiency, transparency, and beneficiary satisfaction in the coming years. FD SB
