Tripura State Govt honors excellence in Education on 62nd Teachers' Day

Agartala, Sep 03 (FD) In celebration of academic achievement and dedication to the development of students, the Tripura State Government has announced the names of 11 educational institutions set to be honored on the occasion of the 62nd Teachers' Day, which falls on September 5, 2023.

The prestigious awards recognise institutions across various categories, including attendance, academic results, sports, cultural and co-curricular activities, implementation of PM Poshan (school), cleanliness (Swachhata), information technology, and overall performance.

Notable winners include Manu Eng. Medium HS School for Best School for Attendance, Kirit Bikram Institution for outstanding results in final examinations, and Kamini Kumar Shing Memorial HS School for excellence in games and sports.

Ramkrishna Mahavidyalaya has been named the Best Degree College, and TTAADC Polytechnic Institute takes home the title of Best Polytechnic Institution.

These awards highlight the commitment of these institutions to the holistic development of their students and the overall improvement of the education sector in Tripura.
