Tripura Police seized 1.3 kg of heroin worth Rs. 10 crore at Damcherra

Agartala, Sep 02 (FD) In a significant stride towards combating the drug menace in Tripura, the state police, under the Neshamukt Tripura campaign, achieved another major success.

During a special Naka checking operation, police seized approximately 1.3 kg of heroin with a street value of Rs 10 crore at Damcherra in North Tripura district.

Furthermore, one individual was apprehended, and a vehicle was impounded in connection with this operation.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha commended the unwavering dedication of the Tripura Police in their pursuit of a drug-free state. This accomplishment marks a pivotal step in realizing our collective goal. FD SB JK
