Tripura Police Seize ₹28 Crore Worth Yaba Tablets in Dhalai

Agartala, Feb 11 (FD) Tripura police on Monday recovered 9.24 lakh yaba tablets worth Rs. 28 crore after a search at a truck at Betbagan Naka point in Dhalai district.

S.P of Dhalai district Mihir Lal Das said, “We had started anti-narcotic movement in our district and during routine check-up we have recovered the drugs from the fuel chamber of the truck and arrested the driver and his helper. Further investigation is on.”

He said, a case was registered against them under NDPS act and the driver and his helper would be thoroughly grilled to know the sources and its routes to Tripura. FD JK
