Tripura Police Seize Ganja Worth ₹1.3 Crore in North

Agartala, April 19 (FD) Tripura police on Saturday seized 345 KGs of ganja worth Rs. 1.3 crores from a vehicle at Churaibari Naka point in North Tripura district, police said.
The ganjas hided inside a puffed rice machine in 59 packets inside a puffed rice machine to confuse the police.
However, police acted in a tip-off and waiting for the vehicle at the Naka point. During a checkup they found the cannabis hided inside a machine of the puffed rice.
Additional S.P, J Darlong said that they arrested the driver of the vehicle, Monita Mohan Jamatiya of Teliamura and the ganjas were uploaded at Padmabil areas of the Khowai district.
The stuffs were to be smuggled to Bihar enroute to Assam, where consumption of ganja is very high. FD JK
