Tripura police recover two stolen cars, nab one thief

Agartala, Nov 8 (FD) The police personnel of East police station have recovered two stolen cars from Bypass area here and arrested a thief in this connection on Monday, police official said.
The arrested thief was identified as Suman Das (22).
According to police, the two cars- one Maruti Eeco and the other is Tata Ace.
The Eco car was stolen from college Tilla area on Sunday while the other one was stolen from Ramthakur Sangh area in the early hours of Sunday night.
However, as a result of quick action by the police, one thief was arrested along with the two cars from bypass area.
Police, however, suspecting that there is a gang of 3 to 4 members, involved in these theft incidents who use the stolen cars for illegal activities at the capital city.
