Tripura Partners with Karmayogi Bharat to Improve Public Services

Agartala, April 24 (FD) In a significant step toward improving the quality of public service delivery, an agreement was signed today between the Government of Tripura, the Capacity Building Commission, and Karmayogi Bharat. The signing ceremony, held at Pragya Bhavan, aimed to enhance the efficiency of government employees across various departments through structured skill development and capacity-building initiatives.
The agreement was formally signed by Apurba Roy, Secretary of the General Administration (P&T) Department on behalf of the Tripura Government; Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, Member (HR) of the Capacity Building Commission; and Shovana Rana, Advisor to Karmayogi Bharat.
Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, addressing the event, emphasized that the collaboration will significantly contribute to the professional and personal growth of state employees, fostering a stronger connection between public servants and citizens. He also acknowledged the recent national recognition received by four Tripura officers who were awarded the Prime Minister’s Excellence Award on Civil Services Day.
The training programs under this agreement will focus on skill enhancement, familiarization with modern technologies, and improved governance practices. These efforts are expected to improve service delivery and promote a results-oriented work culture.
Dr. Balasubramaniam highlighted the broader role of the Capacity Building Commission in transforming government services through continuous learning. Other notable speakers included S.P. Roy, Shovana Rana, and Arpita Choudhury. Senior officials and department heads of the Tripura Government also attended the ceremony, reinforcing the state's commitment to administrative excellence.
