Agartala, July 16 (FD) Tripura Gramin Bank on Thursday laid the foundation stone for its new Head Office building at Gurkhabasti in Agartala, marking a major step in the bank's expansion and infrastructure development aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and customer service.
The foundation stone was laid by Tripura Gramin Bank Chairman Satyendra Singh in the presence of General Manager Anup Kumar Saha, senior officials, employees and representatives from various departments of the bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Satyendra Singh said the new Head Office reflects the bank's long-term vision of developing a modern, efficient and customer-centric financial institution. He said the facility would significantly strengthen the bank's administrative and operational capabilities while reinforcing its commitment to financial inclusion and rural development across Tripura.
"The new headquarters will enable us to provide better services to our customers and support the bank's future growth. It also reflects our continued commitment to extending quality banking facilities to people across the state," he said.
General Manager Anup Kumar Saha said the upcoming Head Office would provide a modern and improved working environment for employees and facilitate better coordination among various departments. He added that the upgraded infrastructure would help streamline operations, improve efficiency and ensure faster delivery of banking services to customers.
Bank officials described the project as a significant milestone in the institution's journey, expressing confidence that the new Head Office would support future expansion plans while strengthening the bank's role in promoting financial inclusion and rural economic development.
