Tripura Govt urges employees to skip strike, attend work promptly

Agartala, May 19 (FD) The Tripura Government has issued a memorandum regarding the proposed nationwide General strike called by the All India State Government Employees Federation tomorrow.

The strike was called for regularization of all the contractual employees, stopping of outsourcing and proper salaries for the daily wagers.

The Tripura Employees Coordination Committee (HGB road) has requested the state government employees and teachers to support the strike.

However, the state Government in its memorandum has asked the employees to remain present in the office on time and sent the copies of the memorandum to all departmental heads and secretaries of the concerned departments. FD JK
