Tripura Govt to install lift at Agartala Press Club

Agartala, Oct 6 (FD) The Tripura Government has announced its decision to install a lift at the Agartala Press Club, as per Chief Minister's statement. The lift, costing ₹78 lakh, will accommodate 13 people at once, significantly improving accessibility for the club's members. 

The Agartala Press Club expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister for addressing the need for the facility. Journalists and club members are thrilled with this development, especially senior members who will benefit from the ease of movement between floors.

The current executive committee had promptly raised the demand for the lift installation after their election. The Chief Minister took prompt action, ensuring the project moved forward swiftly. The lift will enable proper use of the rooftop on the fourth floor and improve overall convenience for club members.
