Tripura govt to award best schools, college and polytechnic institute

Agartala, Sep 3: Tripura government will award nine (9) best performing schools of the state, one government degree college and one polytechnic institute as part of the 61st teachers day celebration on Monday next.

According to a decision taken by education department, notified by the director of school education Chandni Chandran, the nine schools selected for award in different districts of the state in various categories: 1) Best school for attendance (Unakoti), 2) Best school in terms of TBSE’s final exams (North), 3) Best school in Games and Sports (Dhalai), 4) Best school in cultural activities (South), 5) Best school in implementation of midday meal scheme (Sepahijala), 6) Best school in Swachhata (Gomati), 7) Best school in information technology (Khowai), 8) Best girls school (West), 9) Best co-ed school (west).

The Best schools, general degree college (West) and Best polytechnic institution (West) are- Goldharpur Rudrasingha HS school, Bir Bikram Institution, Ujan Chankap HS school, Jolairbari MM girls HS school, N.C Institution, Kirit Bikram Institution, Mungiabari HS School, Raniganj Girls HS school, Mohanpur HS school , Womens college and Tripura Institute of Technology.
