Tripura govt is working to provide best infrastructure in dental treatment: CM

Agartala, Dec 09 (FD) Tripura government is working to provide best infrastructure in dental treatment to ensure best health services for the people of the state, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said on Friday.
“The state government has taken several initiatives for quality improvement of the state health infrastructure,” Dr Saha said after inaugurating the two-day long 21st Annual Conference of the Tripura Branch of the Indian Dental Association at Pragna Bhavan here.
Dr. Manik Saha, who himself was a prominent Dentist advised the doctors to provide health facilities to patients in view with the pure mindset.
He said, along with other doctors, there is sufficient number of dental surgeons available in the state. The Chief Minister appealed to the surgeons to become more sincere in providing health services.
In a social media post, the Chief Minister said, "Professional yet service minded is the mark of a good doctor"
He wrote, “This is the profession from where I started the journey of public welfare and organizational experience in a long career.”
He also expressed hope that the conference will be an overall success with the goal of working in the future with a positive attitude and service spirit.
Secretary of the state Health department, Dr Debashish Bose, Director of National Health Mission Subhashish Das, National Oral Health Programme State Nodal Officer Dr Rajesh Anil Acharya and other officials also spoke on the occasion. FD PD JK
