Tripura Govt. adopts mechanism to improve Vidyajyoti schools

Agartala, Jan 16 (FD) The state government has adopted a comprehensive mechanism to improve the educational qualifications in 125 Vidyajyoti schools in the state, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said.
“About 87 percent students of secondary education and 75 percent of the students of Higher Secondary education had passed the final examinations, which alerted the state government. So far 41 training programmes were conducted to improve the quality of the teachers, where resource persons from CBSE had also imparted them trainings. Teachers from Ramkrishna Mission and Kendriya Vidyalaya were engaged in the trainings of teaching methods of the CBSE curriculum.”, Chief Minister, who is also the Education Minister of the state informed the assembly yesterday.
He said that, maintaining teacher’s diary and student’s notebooks were made mandatory and the matters discussed in the classes would also figure in those diary and notebooks.
“We have also launched projects like grooming class and learning hub”, he added. FD JK
