Agartala, Nov 16 (FD) The newly appointed Tripura Governor, Indrasena Reddy Nallu, conducted a surprise visit to GB Pant Hospital (GBP), the state's primary referral hospital. The governor meticulously inspected the hospital's facilities, including wards, laboratories, and OPDs, engaging with both hospital authorities and patients.

Despite efforts by some senior doctors to showcase selective positive aspects, the governor independently navigated the hospital.

Following the inspection, Governor Nallu expressed satisfaction with GBP Hospital's overall condition, acknowledging its role as a last resort for patients rejected by private healthcare facilities. He pledged support for further improvements if needed.
