Tripura government to fill up 9175 posts, new scheme for 30,000 beneficiaries: CM

Agartala, Sep 30 (FD) Tripura government has decided to recruit total 9175 employees and a new scheme for providing social allowance to 30,000 beneficiaries soon, according to official sources.
The council of ministers on Friday cleared recruitment of 6067 Special Executive posts under the Home department, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has announced on social media on Friday.
In a social media post, the Chief Minister said, the special executives would be deployed to assist the police in all the police stations in rural and urban areas of the state.
The state cabinet also decided to appointment altogether 3108 TET qualified teachers, Dr Manik Saha announced on a social media post on Friday.
According to the post, Out of 3108 TET qualified teachers, 757 are Under Graduate Teachers and 2351 are Graduate Teachers at Upper Primary Level.
The officers and clerks in the education department have already started working on papers to issue formal letters of appointment to the TET qualified teachers.
Besides, the Tripura cabinet approved a new scheme "Chief Minister Social Assistance Scheme" for the poor people who are deprived of social allowances.
As many as 30,000 new beneficiaries have been brought under this scheme, they would now get monthly allowance of Rs. 2000, the Chief Minister mentioned.
The state cabinet also cleared a 15 percent hike in the expenditure required for payment of salaries to Anganwadi workers, helpers and Asha workers. FD PD JK
