Tripura CM to inaugurate 15 log huts at Narkel Kunja in Dumboor Lake on Oct 17

Agartala, Oct 15 (FD) Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha will inaugurate 15 log huts to facilitate overnight stay of tourists while visiting one of Tripura's most attractive tourist destinations, Narkel Kunja, on October 17 next, an official release said.
As tourism became one of the core sectors of economy in Tripura, the state government has taken several initiatives for the overall development of the tourism destinations including Dumboor Lake, one of the largest water bodies in the North Eastern region.
As part of the initiatives, 15 log huts have already been constructed to facilitate tourists while visiting Narkel Kunja in Dumboor Lake. The log huts will be inaugurated on October 17 next.
Tourist Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MP Rebati Tripura and Secretary of Tripura Tourism Department Kiran Gitte will also attend the inaugural programme.
According to an official release issued by the MD of Tripura Tourist Development Corporation Limited, the construction of eight more log huts at Narkel Kunja in Dumboor Lake is underway. FD PD JK
