Tripura CM reviews Centrally Sponsored Schemes during State-level DISHA Committee meeting

Agartala, Aug 18 (FD) Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the State-level DISHA Committee at the Civil Secretariat, reviewing the progress and implementation of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and development programmes across the state.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister assessed the status of ongoing schemes and programmes, with particular emphasis on effective implementation, timely completion of projects and improved coordination among various government departments.

Dr Saha stressed the need to ensure that the benefits of government schemes and initiatives reach people at the grassroots level. He also underlined the importance of efficient execution and effective monitoring to strengthen public service delivery and ensure the successful implementation of development programmes.

The Chief Minister further highlighted the crucial role of inter-departmental coordination in implementing Centrally Sponsored Schemes and achieving their intended objectives.

Reaffirming the state government’s commitment to accelerating Tripura’s development, Dr Saha said sustained efforts would be made to improve the implementation of welfare and development initiatives and ensure that their benefits reach all sections of society.

The meeting reviewed the progress of key programmes and focused on strengthening coordination and implementation mechanisms to further improve the delivery of government services across the state. FD JK
