Tripura CM receives appreciation for victory in Dhanpur and Boxanagara

Agartala, Sept 18(FD) The landslide victory of the ruling BJP in two constituencies – Danpur and Boxanagar in Tripura’s Sepahijala district has come as a boon for the Tripura unit of the saffron party, which received blessings from the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
"I met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his office, Delhi on Saturday and told him about the byelection result. He thanked the party for the victory in the byelection", the Chief Minister told the media on Sunday.
The elections for the two constituencies were held on September 5 last and with the win in two Assembly seats, the BJP 's strength has gone up to 33 in the 60-member Assembly.
Saha, on his return on Sunday said, he had threadbare discussion over development in the state with the Prime Minister.
"The prime minister wanted to know what the BJP -led government has done for the state and future plan. We are running the government the way Modiji is taking the country to a new height" he said.
Saying tha the Prime Minister urged the leaders and activists to work with enthusiasm and take all the people along, the Chief Minister said.
Prime Minister also uttered the rays of hope saying that an investment friendly atmosphere has been created in the north eastern state with business players want to invest in Tripura for setting up industeries
Recently, the Chief Minister joined industrialists in Jaipur where he highlighted investment opportunity.
Earlier, Saha also met Delhi' s LG VK Saxena and sought his help to set up new Tripura Bhavan in Dwarka, New Delhi.
"I met Delhi's LG VK Saxena and sought his help to identify a plot for constructing new Tripura Bhavan at Dwarka with a bigger space. To have a new Tripura Bhavan is required to accommodated more people from Tripura as existing facilities fall short" he said in a Facebook post on Saturday.
