Tripura CM meets BJP President Nitin Nabin in New Delhi

Agartala, May 27 (FD) Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Wednesday met BJP president Nitin Nabin at the party headquarters in New Delhi and discussed organisational matters and recent developments in the state.
Sharing details on X, Saha described the meeting as productive and said discussions focused on strengthening the party organisation and welfare initiatives in Tripura.
“Had a productive discussion on various organizational issues and the latest developments in Tripura. Committed to strengthening the party and delivering for the people,” the Chief Minister posted.
Saha, who has been in the national capital since Tuesday, also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed several developmental proposals for Tripura, including the establishment of an AIIMS, introduction of Vande Bharat train services and additional allocation of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
The Chief Minister also sought support for expansion of railway connectivity, development of tourism and sports infrastructure, employment generation in the technology sector and enhancement of welfare schemes for Bru families and students under EMRS. FD JK
