Agartala, Nov 17 (FD) Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Thursday launched the ‘Amar Sarkar’ (My government), Web Portal in a programme organized by Rural Development (Panchayat) department at Muktadhara Auditorium here.
The web-based portal will provide platform for the Panchayat Secretaries, Rural Programme Secretaries, Village Secretaries and Rural Programme Managers of various Gram Panchayats and Village Committees of Tripura for reporting various issues related to the concerned departments of Government of Tripura.
According to the jurisdiction, the issues registered through the web portal will be viewed line department users.
Addressing the programme, Dr Saha said, “With the aim of solving the common needs and various problems of the people of rural areas. I believe village panchayat level government officials talk to common people, proper information will be presented in this portal. Through which it will play a helpful role in taking various plans of the current development-oriented government.”
The Chief Minister highlighted the massive success of 'Prati Ghar Sushasan' Campaign.
He said, “The three-month-long campaign 'Prati Ghar Sushasan', which was launched on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on September 17 to bring the benefits of the flagship schemes of the central and state governments to the people, from the district to the Gram Panchayat level, will continue till former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birthday on December 25.
Dr Saha said that the initiative was taken up as per the cabinet decision to achieve hundred percent successes and it is getting immense response so far”.
He also mentioned that the use of technology helped the state government in various situations including the Covid pandemic, when almost every work was done from home using the internet.
“With the advancement in technology and with the growing modernization in every aspect, the state government is also working towards adapting various modern techniques including the benefits of modern technology,” he added.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha is hopeful that the web-portal will help the state government to bridge gap between the public representatives at all levels and the common people of the state. FD PD JK
