Tripura CM launches Light, Sound show at Neermahal, Ujjayanta Palace ahead of G20 Science Summit

Agartala, Apr 02 (FD) Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated light and sound shows at two popular tourist destinations, Neermahal and Ujjayanta Palace, ahead of the G20 Science Summit.
The aim is to create a more attractive and vibrant atmosphere for the visiting delegates.
The 30-minute light and sound show at the Ujjayanta Palace showcased the history of the royal regime. The G20 Science Summit is scheduled to be held on April 3 and 4.
The event is seen as a significant event for the state, which got the opportunity to organize the event following the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr Saha said.
Addressing the media at Neermahal, the Chief Minister announced that ‘tourist police’ would be launched on Sunday to assist the tourists. He said the tourist police personnel would be available at Tripurasundari Temple, Ujjayanta Palace, Neermahal, Chabimura and Narikel Kunja.
Minister for Industries and Commerce department Santana Chakma was also present in the press conference.
Meanwhile the Delegates of G-20s Science Summit on ‘Clean Energy for Greener Future’ were warmly welcomed at MBB Airport here on Sunday, with the Traditional Janajatiya Risa and Cultural Performances.
The state's Minister for Tourism, Sushanta Chowdhury, highlighted that all the tourism spots in the state are being developed with modern facilities for visitors. FD PD
