Tripura CM inaugurates new primary health centre in Fatikroy

Kailashahar, Sept 14 (FD) The newly built primary health centre in Fatikroy of kailashahar subdivision was inaugurated by chief minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday. The inaugural function was headed by the chairperson of Unokoti district council Amalendu Das along with the welcome speech addressed by the officer of Family welfare and prevention of disease, Dr. Radha Debbarma.
In his deliverance, CM said the government is working to gradually transform every primary health care centre into health and wellness centers. He said that the government is manifesting to build every hospital in the state in the AIIMS framework. He requested the participation of common citizens in maintaining the hygiene in hospitals and active involvement of the patient welfare committee.
The inaugural function was attended by Tripura Industrial Development Corporation (TIDC president Tinku Roy, District Magistrate Uttam Kumar Chakma, district police super Kanta Jangir and chief health official Dr. John B. Darlong.
MLA Sudhanshu Das requested the cooperation of everyone in the development of health services.
The newly built primary health centre in Fatikroy is facilitated by 10 beds and the expenditure of the building is 4 crore and 58 lacs rupees.
At the function, the CM handed 5 landless workers of Jagannath Tea Garden the title deed papers of lands under the tea worker committees’ project.
After the inauguration, Dr. Manik Saha went to inspect the primary health centre in Fatikroy.
