Agartala, Nov 21 (FD) Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday inaugurated and laid foundation stones of various developmental initiatives in different parts of Sepahijala districts.
The chief minister inaugurated Chief Medical Officer’s Office (CMO) and a Prati Ghare Sushason Mela at Bishramganj under the district on Monday morning.
Then he inaugurated a rice godown which has a capacity of 1000 Metric-ton in Nalchor Constituency under the district.
Later, Dr Saha laid foundation stone of Barnarayan Higher Secondary. Dr Saha interacted with a beneficiary of PM Awas Yojana there.
He also inaugurated another 1000 Metric-ton rice godown at Paharpur in the afternoon.
Later in the afternoon, the chief minister laid foundation stone of Sonamura SDM office.
Addressing the foundation laying programme Dr Saha said, his government believes in transparency, works with a transparent mind set and will continue working towards gaining the trust of the people.
He said that the ruling government is working with the aim of delivering 100% of the government initiatives to the beneficiaries.
In this context Dr Saha highlighted various initiatives of the state government that have been taken to bridge between the state government and the common people including Prati Ghare Sushasan and Amar Sarkar, a web Portal.
Highlighting the developmental works that has been taken by the present BJP-IPFT government since 2018, Dr Saha said, “If I want to inaugurate four projects daily out of those all projects that have been initiated and developed by our government, it will take more than one year to complete.”
He said, the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi believes only in development irrespective of religion, caste and caste, the Chief Minister added.
Sepahijala District Zilla Sabhadhipati Supriya Das, MLA of Nalchar constituency, Principal Secretary of revenue department Punit Agarwal, Sepahijala District Magistrate and collector Biswasri B., Chairperson of Sonamura Nagar Pachayat Sarada Chakraborty were present in the foundation lay programme of Sonamura SDM office.
