Agartala, May 15 (FD) The State Council of Ministers of Tripura has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the brave soldiers of India for the successful execution of “Operation Sindoor.” The message of appreciation was formally adopted yesterday during a cabinet meeting, where Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha proposed sending a greeting message—a move that received unanimous support.
The cabinet's statement applauded the Indian Armed Forces for their swift and decisive action in response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, carried out by militants based in and supported by Pakistan. The attack claimed the lives of 26 Indian citizens, prompting a powerful counter-operation led by the Indian military under the leadership of PM Modi.
“In protest against the terrorist attack, the Indian Armed Forces conducted Operation Sindoor. The Tripura State Cabinet and the people of the state congratulate the brave soldiers of India for this successful mission,” the statement read.
Highlighting the strengthened defense capability under PM Modi’s leadership, the cabinet reiterated its full support for the government’s continued fight against terrorism. “India is a believer in non-violence and peaceful coexistence. However, any attempt to destabilize the nation through terrorist acts will be met with a strong response,” it affirmed.
The cabinet also extended its respect and gratitude to all security personnel, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Border Security Force, for their tireless service in safeguarding the nation.
Finally, the message paid tribute to the soldiers and civilians who lost their lives in the attack, describing them as martyrs of national integrity and courage. FD SB
