Tripura budget session to begin on March 21 next

Agartala, Feb 4 (FD) The budget session of the Tripura assembly will begin since March 21 next.

This would be the 7th session of the 13th state assembly since the state was declared as a full fledged state in 1972.

A notification in this regard was published after the Governor of the state Indrasena Reddy Nallu gave his consent.

Sources in the assembly stated that the agenda of the approaching session will be decided over by the Business Advisory committee of the assembly soon. In the session the budget and the supplementary budget would be presented before the house.

The state Finance Minister Pranajit Singhroy during submission of the budget would also include non plan expenses like salary and pension, which would be included in the 16th Finance Commission award. 

The leaders of the different employee’s bodies expect that sufficient amount of DA would be mentioned in the budget so that this provision also could be added in the 16th Finance Commission. FD JK
