Agartala, Nov 26 (FD) After Booth Vijay Abhiyan, Bharatiya Janata Party will launch a week-long ‘Ghar Ghar BJP Abhiyan’ to all 60 constituencies of the state from Sunday next, the party state president Rajib Bhattacharjee announced on Saturday.
The party president said, “After successful completion of Booth Vijay Abhiyan to connect all its activists with the party activities, the party is now going to launch its next campaign as ‘Ghar Ghar BJP abhiyan’ for direct interaction with the people ahead of the state assembly elections.”
He said, as part of the campaign, party workers led by top leaders will conduct door-to-door campaign from November 27 to December 3 next in every constituency in the state.
During their visit, party representatives will carry a report card that includes details of work done in specific constituencies since the BJP-IPFT coalition government came to power, Bhattacharjee added.
Addressing a press conference at the party’s headquarters here, the party state president said about 7000 activists in each constituency areas will gather at a specific place at 11 am on Sunday and attend Man Ki Baat programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At 12pm the week-long initiative of ‘Ghar Ghar BJP abhiyan’ will begin in all the constituencies.
According to Bhattacharjee Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha will lead the campaign at his won 8-Bordowali constituency while other apex leaders will also lead the campaign in different different constituencies.
He said, other leaders like- former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb will lead the campaign at Matabari, Mahendra Singh, Tripura Pradesh election in-charge will lead from Mohanpur, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma will lead the campaign at Charilam, MP Rebati Tripura to lead from Raima Velly, Union Minister for State Pratima Bhoumik will lea at Krishnapur and other ministers and leaders will lead their assigned constituencies.
The Chief Minister, who was also present in the press conference, said that his government is working towards maintaining transparency under the direction of the Prime Minister.
The state government is working giving priority to maintaining proper law and order situation in the state, Dr Saha said.
The report card will contain detailed information on the works done by the current government in the state from 2018 till date.
The party leaders are hopeful that the party will register win in all 60 constituency seats of the state in the ensuing assembly elections.
