Tripura Assembly Deputy Speaker Ram Prasad Paul meets Shah in Delhi

Agartala, Aug 18 (FD) Tripura Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Ram Prasad Paul met Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah at his residence on Monday night and held discussions on Tripura’s overall development, the prevailing situation in the state and its future prospects.
Describing the meeting as a “very cordial and significant” courtesy call, Paul said several issues concerning Tripura were discussed in detail.
According to the Deputy Speaker, the discussions focused on strengthening efforts in the coming days to transform Tripura into a developed, prosperous and self-reliant state. Views were also exchanged on the aspirations of the people of the state, as well as potential support and initiatives from the Central Government to further accelerate Tripura’s development.
Paul said Amit Shah’s vast experience, advice and guidance would provide further inspiration and direction to those working towards the state’s progress.
Describing the interaction as significant for Tripura’s future, Paul reiterated his commitment to the development of the state and the welfare of its people.
“We are committed to the welfare of the people and are determined to build a developed Tripura,” Paul said.
The meeting comes amid continued efforts by the Tripura government and the ruling alliance to strengthen the state’s development agenda and deepen cooperation with the Central Government across various sectors. FD JK
