Tribal youths return after BGB detainment near Bangladesh border

Agartala, Jan 9 (FD) Three tribal youths of Kamalasagar, a bordering area with neighbouring Bangladesh in Sepahijala district, who were forcibly taken away by the Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) on Monday last have returned, Tripura police said on Thursday.
Police said the youths after obtaining permission from BSF had gone to near the border in other side of the fencing for works, but they were picked up by BGB personnel and taken to Chandidar Border outpost (BOP) and then to Kasba police station and finally to the district headquarters, Brahmanbaria.
When the relatives of the youths contacted the Miapara police station they contacted BSF.
Police said BSF contacted BGB and discussed about their release and finally a flag meeting was held in that area last evening and the youths were handed over to BSF, who handed them over to the Miapara police station.
The youths were identified as Dojan Debbarma, Tomo Debbarma and Bimal Debbarma, all belonged to Nanda Kumar Para of the area. FD JK
