Agartala, Sep 19 (FD) Tribal Welfare Minister Ram Pada Jamatia graced the inaugural programme of 50 Seated ST Girls Hostel Building at Kathalcherra TMC Higher Secondary School in Nepaltilla under Longtharai valley Sub-division on Monday.
MLA, Diba Chandra Hranglchawl, MDC Sanjoy Das, SDM of Longtharai valley Amartya Barman, Joint Director of Tribal Welfare Department Ringku Reang, DEO of Dhalai District Mihir Debnath, Manu BDO Dr. Animesh Debbarma, Executive Engineer of PWD (R&B) Manu Division Pijush Debbamm and others were attended the inaugural programme.
Jamatia in his inaugural speech Jamatia assured to initiate an action plan for maintenance of Kathalcherra TMC H.S school ground in the capacity to convert into a better football ground within this area.
Moreover, the inaugurator reviewed and stated that the concerned guardians of this 50 ST hostel students enlisted or enroll here, will timely received a financial assistance of Rs. 19501- per month, 400 gm ration each per day along with other basic needs for their education.
The source also mentioned here that free Coaching, co-curricular activities will also be part of their education and livelihood in this atmosphere.
The minster also cited that, the government main objectives is to provide necessary source of prepared places and atmosphere for learning opportunities to the needful and less privileged inhabitants of the rural and remote habitations.
Keeping in mind of that, the Minister simply cited that, the government has recently established more than 18 residential and Ashram schools in the state, so as to emrhasize and encourage the families of rural and remote habitation in order to sensitized and provide proper opportunities and facilities, through various means and sources.
The programme was presided over by MLA cum BAC Chairman of Manu RD Block, Diba Chandra Hranglchawl.
