Tribal Council signs a memorandum of Understanding with a Japanese org. for jobs

Agartala, Mar 7 (FD) In a significant development, the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) has signed a memorandum of Understanding with NAVIS, a Japan based NGO, which created employment opportunities for the unemployed in Japan.
Addressing a press Conference, a member of TTAADC and the Chief of Tipra Motha party, Pradyot Kishore Debbarma said, the tribal council has signed the memorandum with the NAVIS after seeing their office in Bengaluru recently.
“They have a very nice office at Bengaluru, which I visited and found many boys and girls from the North-East are taking trainings there. Many other north eastern states like Mizoram, Meghalaya ad Assam have sent their boys and girls there for taking training and speaking in Japanese language. After taking trainings they would be shifted to Japan for jobs. They get hefty salaries there”, Debbarma told reporters.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of the NGO, Takako Ousuchi said, “We are facing shortage of people, which led us to recruit people from outside. We are recruiting 30% of population for job from the North eastern part of India. They are very sincere in works”.
Debbarma said, proficiency in Japanese language is needed for getting jobs.”We are paying Rs. 50,000 at a time so that our boys can get the training”, he added. FD JK
