Tragic Incident: Man fatally pushed by Train near Ambassa Railway Station

Agartala, Jun 27 (FD) In a heartbreaking incident near Ambassa railway station, a destitute man identified as Sajni Das (53) lost his life after being pushed by an Agartala-bound train earlier today.

Local police sources from Ambassa reported that Sajni Das, originally hailing from the Phulcherri area in Kamalpur, had been residing at his father-in-law's house in Telenga Basti, Ambassa.

On this fateful morning, Sajni Das had ventured out with his cow to tend it when the Agartala-bound train approached. Tragically, due to his unsteady movement, he was accidentally pushed by the passing train and suffered fatal injuries, succumbing on the spot.

Local residents and law enforcement swiftly arrived at the scene, and Sajni Das was promptly transported to Ambassa Hospital, where he was declared dead.

The shocking incident has cast a pall of sorrow and mourning over the Telenga Basti area, leaving the community grieving for the loss of a fellow resident. FD SB
