TIUT gains approval to launch legal Education Programs

Agartala, Sep 3 (FD) Techno India University Tripura (TIUT) has received official approval from the Bar Council of India to offer legal education programs. This significant recognition enables the university to confer law degrees to its students, further expanding its academic offerings.
For over 40 years, Techno India Group has been a pioneer in the education sector, particularly in eastern India. In its continued effort to broaden educational opportunities, TIUT has recently introduced various new programs across multiple disciplines. These initiatives are aimed at providing the students of Tripura with enhanced options for higher education.
On Wednesday, the university announced that it had received approval to offer a three-year LLB course and a five-year BA LLB (Honours) course. The approval came during a meeting of the Standing Committee on Legal Education of the Bar Council of India.
Each of the newly approved programs will accommodate 60 students. Professor Dr. Ratan Kumar Saha, Vice-Chancellor of TIUT, highlighted the importance of this development in a press statement, emphasizing the university's commitment to academic excellence and expanding educational opportunities in the region.
