TIPRA Motha chief appeals for donation to the party as it was facing fund crunch

Agartala, Feb 1 (FD): On the eve of the state election, TIPRA Motha, the Indigenous Party of Tripura, seems to be facing a financial crisis.

In a social media post, the party's Chief Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barma requested funding and support for the Tripura Assembly Election. 

“We are a small party and we have said that to change the system we need transparency! If anyone from anyplace would like to support /donate for our election fund this is the bank account number! Please help us change the system” he wrote.

Sources in the party said that the party was facing acute fund crunch and the ‘Bubagra’ (Pradyot) has personally spent huge amount of funds for the party and when more funds are required for election campaign he has made the appeal. FD SB
